Factory production of the timber frame panels ensures that they are accurately manufactured to precise tolerances in a controlled environment away from unpredictable weather. More specifically, the type of timber used is imported mainly from U.S.A. or Canada of the species of Douglas Fir Lumber (D.F.L.) or S. Pine. or Hem. Fir or S.P.F., fumigated/factorized pressure treated, with a moisture content not more than 12% and impregnated with suitable chemical substances and varnished for protection against termites, moisture, water and fire.

The timber frame panels are rapidly erected on-site and, with trussed rafters forming the roof, a weathertight building can be created in a matter of days. This enables work to continue in protected conditions within the building whilst the outer cladding and roof finishes are applied.

The timber frame method of the building gives designers flexibility in both layout and external appearance. High levels of thermal insulation are incorporated within the construction, reducing heating costs and conserving energy.
